Dear, Uncle Harry (Pewee),
I am sorry I failed to get the justice you deserved but in a world such as ours if you don't have money or fame no one cares what happens to you except for the ones who loved you. It wasn't a big enough story for the news stations to even want to hear about and while for a little while it got a little attention through social media this blog really never went anywhere either. A lot of people file lawsuits in cases like this and I was going to too but than I realized there is not peace in that nor is there justice. You file a lawsuit and they may or may not have to pay financially for what they have done but where is the justice in that no one really takes responsibility for the damage that was caused and the person who files the lawsuit nine times out of ten has to sign a paper saying they can not bad mouth the company or talk about the case which means once again silence and the company once again gets to go about their business like nothing ever happened. Anyway I have gotten off track I truly tried every avenue I could think of to get someone to listen but nothing was done and because so many people cover things up nothing probably will ever come of this. I love you and I am sorry that you had to suffer and die the way you did please forgive me for not being able to stop ManorCare from being able to do this to someone else.
Love and Miss you
Ashly

No Justice
After almost a year I realized there is no JUSTICE for those like my uncle. No one cares that has the power to do anything they all say it's not my problem talk to this person and this person says talk to that person and so on. My uncle may not have been the best society has to offer but he was a person, a brother, son and uncle to people who loved him. Though the world can write him off and his life meant nothing to anyone it meant something to me. I guess if he had been rich or a child his story would have made the front pages and people would have taken notice but when you are a homeless man who has nothing you are to the world a nobody. It makes me really disheartened knowing that animals get more recognition when they are being killed then human beings. This place ManorCare is a company which runs facilities such as this in many different states, here in the United States and in many of them people have died of neglect. They died painful slow deaths from infection because of bedsores, they died because of dehydration and malnutrition. It's like they lived in a third world country inside one of the richest countries in the world. Why has it become except-able to treat people this way? When did people choose to look the other way when others are being treated so badly they die? Who can help because the government is failing to do anything about corporations that hurt those they are suppose to care for. How can we make this change? These are all questions I would love to get an answer to!

Slow going
Still working on justice for my uncle, but I seem to be getting nowhere. In the mean time ManorCare continues it's murderous streak about a week ago a young woman entrusted in their care died from neglect. She said she wasn't feeling well and called for help but no one came and by the morning she was dead. Why on earth can nothing be done to stop this company! First I thought it was just the facility my uncle was in that was this bad but it is not it is the whole ManorCare system people are dying and being seriously injured by these people and nothing is being done. I have reached out to news stations, government officials and nothing. I guess people being neglected to the point of dead is not news worthy or important enough for our news stations or government to care about.
